This production employs Erwin Piscator’s Epic Theatre which aimed to bring the “real life” on stage in order to create prolonged conversation surrounding a specific social issue. The overall purpose of this research is to test Piscator’s Epic Theatre methodology on a contemporary audience using contemporary technology to inspire conversation about the confederate monument, Silent Sam.

This production contains themes of racially charged content, themes of violence, and adult themes. Not suitable for children under the age of 13. Viewer discretion is advised.

This production uses voluntary technological audience integration as a method of research. You have the right as an audience member to not participate.
