Haley, a sophomore Acting major, is excited to be in the first production of #silenced. Previously, Haley understudied in The Wolves (#8) as well as in Clown Bar (Petunia). She is delighted to be involved in such a unique and new production, and the opportunity to work with and learn from so many talented and passionate students. Kendra Chideya was born and raised in North Carolina to two adoring parents and an older brother. She's currently a full-time student at Elon University majoring in BFA Acting. Kendra has been theatre acting since the age of eleven and acted in films for about four years now. Besides acting, she also enjoys directing, producing, and writing work within the entertainment industry and will continue to have these pursuits within her future career endeavors. She aspires to continue her acting career professionally post-grad in 2021 in one of the big three entertainment cities. Kendra is extremely grateful to her phenomenal and devoted family who are some of the most selfless humans she has ever known. She's eternal thankful to have them in her life.

Zeth Dixon is ecstatic to be apart of this unique production of #Silenced. He is a First Year Musical Theatre student here at Elon and is pursuing a professional career in the arts. He wants to thank the production crew and the cast for putting together such a lovely show given all of the circumstances we were put under.
Jacob Bollacke is a Senior BFA Acting Major who is grateful to have the opportunity to be performing again. He would like to thank the production team for working tirelessly to create an outstanding online theatrical experience as well as his castmates who helped to bring an incredible story to light.
Callie is a junior BFA Acting Major and Creative Writing Minor. She is so excited to be part of the #silenced ensemble. At Elon University, she has been in Clown Bar (Popo) and Medea (The Attendant). Her other credits include Nine (Spinning Tree Theatre), Henry V, and Twelfth Night (Courtyard Shakespeare). Recently, she served as Unicorn Theatre's literary intern.
Alexander Segarra, from Miami Florida, is now a third year at Elon University in the Music Theater B.F.A program. His credits throughout his time in school range from Once on this Island to the Fosse Showcase to Shakespeare in the Dark, to even a bit of reality TV through the televised competition of Reality Room. He was extremely excited to be a part of the #silenced cast, always wanting to share stories that need to be shared, of marginalized groups who don't have the most support (as he himself is both part of the Latinx and LGBTQ+ communities) and that are completely relevant to the world around us. He hopes you both enjoy the show and come out of it with a new perspective to the world around you.
Will is a fourth year double major in Acting and Psychology with a minor in Philosophy. Some of Will's Elon acting credits include Bent (Kapo/Uncle Freddie u/s), Violet (Leroy Evans, Gospel trio member, ensemble), and a staged reading of Book of Ruth (Mr. Stein). At Elon, Will has also served as a dramaturg for Trojan Barbie and as an assistant stage manager for The 1940s Radio Hour. Additionally, Will will understudy the role of Duncan in Elon's forthcoming production of Macbeth. He profusely thanks the cast, crew, and production team of #silenced for their constant flexibility, imagination, and innovation. He truly cannot wait to see how the labor and collaboration of so many wonderful theatre artists will come to fruition!
Gianni Palmarini is an actor, entrepreneur, and multi-instrumentalist currently finishing up his third year in Elon's Music Theatre program. During his time at Elon, he's been fortunate to be a part of various productions on-stage and off-stage including The 1940's Radio Hour, Bent, Trojan Barbie, Clown Bar, and We Will Rock You. Most recently, he served as the associate music director for the world premiere of Elon's filmed fall production of Beast Mode Champion: The Pro-Wrestling Rock Musical. Aside from the arts, Gianni has a passion for inspiring others to become the best versions of themselves. He would like to thank Sydney, Weston, and the entire #silenced team for allowing him to be a part of this artistic process!
Anna is a sophomore BFA Acting and Cinema & Television Arts double major. She has appeared in The Elephant Man, Hamlet, Translating Livia Ming, the workshoped reading of #silenced and Elon Tonight here at Elon University. Working on #silenced has been a great opportunity, and she'd like to thank the creative team for all of their hard work.
Skyler Sajewski is so thrilled to be a part of this special production. Skyler is a junior at Elon University as a B.F.A. Music Theatre major with a minor in Business Administration and Literature. Favorite roles of Skyler’s are #2 in Sarah Delappe’s THE WOLVES at Elon, Julia in THE WEDDING SINGER, a Bird Girl in SEUSSICAL, and Dream Laurey in OKLAHOMA!. Skyler has also sung in the Broadway Princess Party with Laura Osnes, Susan Egan, and Courtney Reed. When not doing theatre, Skyler can be seen reading, making bracelets, and trying to teach herself the ukulele. She would like to thank her family for their constant love and support!
Durham NC native, Kayla Jacobs, is currently a Junior Music Theatre and Arts Administration major at Elon University. Her most recent credits include "Woman 2" in Songs For A New World and "Somebody" in Branden Jacobs Jenkins "Everybody"! Kayla has enjoyed her time working with the #silenced team, and feels blessed to be a part of the cast. This show sends a powerful message, and hopefully everyone who sees it will enjoy their experience!
Tyler Chavez is a senior studying Cinema and Television Arts with a minor in Theatre Studies from Milford, Connecticut. When not on set, he can be found working in the Gear Room or performing with Please Clap Improv. He hopes that #silenced will raise awareness about student activism and holding institutions accountable.
Oonagh Kelly is a senior Acting and Arts Administration double major at Elon. Her past acting credits include #11 in The Wolves, as well as understudy roles in American La Ronde, The School for Wives, and Trojan Barbie. In summer 2019, she was a Casting Intern for Jim Carnahan Casting in New York City, where she assisted in casting cycles for numerous Broadway and Off-Broadway shows, as well as John Mulaney’s comedy special John Mulaney & The Sack Lunch Bunch on Netflix. In fall 2019, she spent a semester abroad in London at the Theatre Academy London, where she studied Stage Combat, Shakespeare, Playwriting, and Devised Theatre. This past summer, she was a part of the Cinnamon Summer Series's online devised production of Chekhov's Three Sisters, where she played the role of Vershinin. She will be featured as Lennox in Elon's production of Macbeth this spring.

Sydney is a senior Communications Fellow and Lumen Scholar double majoring in Theatrical Design & Technology and Communication Design. At Elon University, Sydney has worked on We Will Rock You (Projection Designer), Trojan Barbie (Projection Designer), Sweeney Todd (Projection Designer), Bent (Stage Manager), and The Wolves (Stage Manager). Professionally, Sydney has worked with The American Dance Festival (Production Intern), The Muny 101st Season (Video Design Intern), The Muny’s 2020 Summer Variety Hour (Assistant Video Editor), and The Muny’s 2020 Holiday Magic Special (Assistant Video Editor). Recently, Sydney was awarded SETC's John Spiegel Theatrical Artist Award and was one of six artists to be recognized with USITT’s & LDI’s 2020 Diversity in Design Award. In 2020, Sydney placed first in SETC’s Projection Design competition with her design for We Will Rock You. She will be co-presenting at the 2021 conference with Greg Thorn (#silenced Lighting Designer) about the process of creating #silenced. Sydney would like to thank her incredible parents, her two younger sisters, her friends, Dr. Shawyer, the cast, the production team, and every person that helped her throughout her two and a half year journey of bringing #silenced to life.

Sydnie Rogers is a junior Philosophy major with a minor in English Literature. Previously, she has served as an assistant stage manager on the productions Trojan Barbie and Damn Yankees. Inspired by the collaboration, innovation, and message of this show, Sydnie is proud for #silenced to be her co-directorial debut. She is immensely grateful for the opportunity to be a part of the #silenced team and will forever be thankful for the experience.
Weston is a junior music theatre major and Elon College Fellow with a minor in psychology from Indianapolis, IN. He is thrilled to co-direct this timely piece with the lovely Sydnie Rogers. Lighting Designer and Capture Programmer
Greg Thorn (Lighting Designer/Capture Programmer) is the Technical Director for the Department of Cultural & Special Programs at Elon University. Some of his past lighting design credits include The Mystery of Edwin Drood, Cabaret, You Can’t Take It with You, The Glass Menagerie, and Mamma Mia! In addition, his set design credits include My Side of the Story and The Thing With Feathers. This is his first time working extensively within a virtual space, and he enjoyed the process immensely. He’s super proud of everyone involved, and wants to thank Sydney for bringing him along for the ride, as well as Alex for dealing with the long hours programming the virtual actors!
Emily Kopchains is a senior with majors in Theatrical Design and Technology, Arts Administration, and a minor is Business Administration. After first hearing about this project over two years ago, I could not be more excited to be the scenic designer for #silenced! It has been so inspiring to work in such a professional setting with my peers and I am grateful to still be making theater in this crazy world where that seems impossible. I am so thankful for the entire #silenced SM and production team, especially my fellow seniors who I would not have survived my four years without! As much of a rollercoaster as this entire process has been, I am so proud for this to be the final show of my Elon career.

Sydney Sirkin is a senior Arts Administration major with minors in Theatrical Design and Technology and Environmental Studies, originally from Trumbull, CT. At Elon, she has stage managed the 2018 Fall Dance Concert, Rites of Seasons and will be stage managing the 2021 Spring Dance Concert. Sydney also has worked in the costume shop and costume designed Bent in 2019. She is so happy to be working on #silenced with a great team!
Carli is so excited to be working as the Sound Designer for #silenced. She recently was Assistant Stage Manager for The Bubbly Black Girl Sheds Her Chameleon Skin and Assistant Sound Engineer for Beast Mode Champion. As a Sophomore Theatrical Design and Technology Major, this experience has been incredible for Carli and she loved being involved in telling such an important story.
Grace Granger is a junior theatre design and technology major and is very excited to stage manage the first production of #silenced with so many wonderful people. Previously she stage managed Elon's Black History Month Concert and assistant stage managed Damn Yankees, Elephant Man, Arcadia, and Once on This Island, She was also deck chief for We Will Rock You and worked as a summer intern at Theatre Arlington. She would like to thank everyone in the cast and crew for such a wonderful and collaborative experience, and most of all Sydney Dye for all the hard work and passion she has put into the show.
Costume Renderer and Social Media Manager
Caitlin Duncan is a junior at Elon University ('22) pursuing Bachelor of Arts Degrees in both Theatrical Design and Technology (costume concentration) and Arts Administration with minors in Early Childhood and Business Administration. Outside of the classroom, Caitlin actively works in the Performing Arts Costume Department serving as a skilled stitcher and cutter/draper. Her time at Elon thus far has consisted of many costume construction pieces, wardrobe supervision, and costume design projects. Upon graduation, Caitlin plans to pursue a career in costume design.

Emily George is a senior Theatrical Design and Technology major (focused in Scenic Art) and an Art minor at Elon University. Alex Nemfakos is a junior TDT and Anthropology double major, with concentrations in lighting and stage management. This year she done lighting design for Pheromone, the Fall Dance Concert and assisted on #silenced and will be stage managing Macbeth in the spring.
Assistant Scenic Designer
Eric Kanzinger is a Junior at Elon University studying Theatrical Design and Technology with a focus on technical direction and carpentry. He has been participating in theatre, both backstage and onstage, since the sixth grade. Outside of theatre, he is a part of Elon's Premiere All-Male a Capella group, Rip_Chord, in which he is the Treasurer. Jessica Valente is a sophomore Theatrical Design and Technology major from Wyckoff, New Jersey. She is very excited to have worked on #silenced with so many amazing and talented people.
